Baby loves down dog
I'm feeling very blissed out these days (except for when I burn toast or when Justin suggests selling the kayaks, which is when I start bawling... forget what I said about not being affected by hormones).
We're doing yoga twice a week at a studio down the coast from where we live. It's a window-surrounded space with wood floors and a woodstove, built on stilts over the water with the waves of the bay crashing underneath. I have to make a lot of adjustments to the poses, but baby loves it.
Down dog especially, which creates a lovely hammock for him to stretch out in.
Already, we can't help but assign a personality to this baby.
Baby likes having freedom to move (just like dad), sleeps with his bony elbows sticking out (just like dad) and has a distinctly anarchistic sense of humour (just like dad, as attributed by uncle Julian). I never thought the movements would be so strong. Sometimes the fidgeting is from baby being happy, and sometimes it's from baby being cranky.
Baby likes:
- Yoga
- Porridge
- Walking
- Teaching mom valuable lessons about the perils of enjoying ginger beer
Baby does not like:
- Ginger beer
- Long car rides
- Being squashed
- Bedtime (uh-oh...)
Meanwhile, Kitty likes:
- Peace
- Quiet
- Admirers
- Attention
- Compliments
- OOoooos
- Aaaahhhs
Kitty does not like:
- Change
